Does anyone have any water filters that work very well in shallow water?
My current one (a ReptoFilter meant for turtle) works okay but I can see that it only filters out the debris in a 14inch radius. (From where it is in my aquarium it would need to cover a 17 inch radius to be effective)
Any ideas? (Preferably one with a link to something I can buy online but if not I can possibly find one this October when I leave my state.)
(Edit: I can always buy a second filter and place it in the opposite corner but.. that sounds like a waste.)
This is what I use. http://www.petco.com/product/5409/Aq...l-Filters.aspx
does something like that allow you to make water features in a foam background lets say? Im trying to understand how people make waterfalls or the like. Is there a filter for the water and also a seperate pump to push the water up the pipes to the waterfall? I need to make some sort of water feature in my newest vive but im not sure how most people do it, I dont really want a huge waterfall, just some sort of bubbling stream into a shallow pool of some sort. any ideas?
The Duetto does come with an adaptor for hoses.
Use of the forum search function will show you numerous discussions on waterfalls and streams for enclosures. There are even drawings and photos how to do this.
As for late replies,well...
Watching FrogTV because it is better when someone else has to maintain the enclosure!
