    Default white's tree frog problem

I've had my White's for a while now, i got a male and female in hope i could breed them in the future, they feed great, are very active, i have seen my male shed a few times, the female seems to be more timid and hide herself away; here's the problem, my female has never turned herself green and my male only does it occasionally, i have tried everything, the temperature stays at around 70degrees and humidity around 60, i have a live planted terrarium with plenty of room with the large/tall exo-terra. I have tried almost everything i can think of i know they aren't too happy when they're brown so i really want to make this right

Their color changes on their preference. It's not necessarily a "happiness thing". I have had white's that would switch colors often, but some would stay dark for weeks on end, only to change for a brief time. If they are acting normally and eating normally, I would not sweat it.

Thank you, you've put my mind at ease a lot. I will keep an eye out for irregular behavior with the female as i am still iffy about her timidness. One white's tree frog being kept at my college out of a group of them had to be removed because he just didn't like the other frogs, I'm still unsure if this is what's up with her, because my male seems to be dominating the food.

Oh, and would it cause UN-necessary stress, if i was to keep the male in an incubator for a night to see if her behavior changes without him being in the same enclosure?

Well, any stress caused by us could be considered as unnecessary. But if you are that concerned, then putting one in a qt tank for a couple days won't hurt either. Keep in mind though, that they aren't social creatures, so they most likely will present different behaviors being alone. That doesn't necessarily mean that there is a problem in the enclosure.

When you feed, do you allow the crickets to roam free? Or do you use a bowl?

I have had my female for nine months now and she still is very timid. Also no matter how much i feed, she remains thin. Every frog is different so yours may never get over her shyness
