    Exclamation White tree frog substrate

hi! i would like to bring to your attention the substrate for white tree frogs and its link to prolapse. when i first got my frog i used the coconut fiber stuff. a month or so later, my frog prolapsed. when i took him to the vet the vet said that the reason he prolapsed was because he had been eating to much of the substrate when he dove for crickets. the vet said that it might be better if we used a reptile carpeting, he has not prolapsed like that again.

is the fact about the coconut fiber true?

or get a blunt pair of feeding tongs, i use the yellow zoo med plastic ones and put it infront of their face and they will eat it. I feed all of my frogs this way, then they get used to you being around them a lot more as they associate you with food
