If he's not eating crickets or earthworms, chances are there is something else going on other than not liking his food.
If you can possibly post some pictures and if you fill this out, we might be able to help more -

hey guys! sorry for not getting back with y'all sooner. i have good news!!!! he finally ate an earthworm today!!!! i'm keeping him outside in a 10 gallon fish tank. i don't know the temps or humidity, just got him 3 days ago. his system has been working great. thx for your concern. he doesn't seem to be interested in the crickets. i don't have any vitamins for him, put i do have a water dish and live plants and a rock cave. i'll put a picture on of him and the worms i'm feeding him. thx again!!!
oh!! he's wild caught and in a very light traffic area and i'm using tap water for him too. i've been changing it every day. he looks pretty chubby, which is normal? there isn't any other frogs with him at the moment. i try to pet him about every day. i don't know if that's good or not. am i stressing him too much? he ate at dinner/lunch (whatever you call it) last today.
No petting, they don't like that. Is the tap water dechlorinated?

yeah, it's de-chlorinated. thx for your help!! he's eating great now!
Glad to hear that he is doing well. Probably just needed to calm down the stress level after being moved into a new home. I personally wouldn't ever bother doing pinky mice even if you can. My toads were more than happy with earthworms, red wigglers, meal worms, crickets, and occasional wax worms. If you get wax worms, keep them a treat, they are high in fat, low in nutrition. If you can, I'd get something to start measuring temps and humidity.

thx! he really seems to like the crickets best. he is starting to not really eat the worms, but loves the crickets and pill bugs. i'm happy about that. i collected a nice bag of worms to feed him. he likes hiding out in the rocks. i'll try to take a picture of his terrarium and put it on my blog. anyway, i hope your frogs/toads are doing great!!
