If he's not eating crickets or earthworms, chances are there is something else going on other than not liking his food.

If you can possibly post some pictures and if you fill this out, we might be able to help more -

    1-size of enclosure
2-# on inhabitants - specifically ( if there is another frog ---size differences ?)
    3-humidity
    4-temp
5-water - type - for both misting and soaking dish
    6-materials used for substrate
7-enclosure set up i.e. plants( live or artificial) wood, bark etc -how were things prepared prior to being put into the viv
    8-main food source
    9-vitamins and calcium ? ( how often )
    10-lighting
11-what is, specifically, being used to maintain the temperature of the enclosure
12-when is the last time he ate
    13-have you found poop lately
14-a pic would be great ( including the frog ) any little cell phone pic is fine
15- how old is the frog
16-how long have you owned him
17- is the frog wild caught or captive bred
18- frog food- how often and if its diverse what other feeders are used as treats
19- about how often the frog is handled
20-is the enclosure is kept in a high or low traffic area

oh!! he's wild caught and in a very light traffic area and i'm using tap water for him too. i've been changing it every day. he looks pretty chubby, which is normal? there isn't any other frogs with him at the moment. i try to pet him about every day. i don't know if that's good or not. am i stressing him too much? he ate at dinner/lunch (whatever you call it) last today.

No petting, they don't like that. Is the tap water dechlorinated?

Glad to hear that he is doing well. Probably just needed to calm down the stress level after being moved into a new home. I personally wouldn't ever bother doing pinky mice even if you can. My toads were more than happy with earthworms, red wigglers, meal worms, crickets, and occasional wax worms. If you get wax worms, keep them a treat, they are high in fat, low in nutrition. If you can, I'd get something to start measuring temps and humidity.

thx! he really seems to like the crickets best. he is starting to not really eat the worms, but loves the crickets and pill bugs. i'm happy about that. i collected a nice bag of worms to feed him. he likes hiding out in the rocks. i'll try to take a picture of his terrarium and put it on my blog. anyway, i hope your frogs/toads are doing great!!
