Welcome to the forum Reuther! The frog you see look like edilus because of the white eardrum, It is pretty hard to tell when they are young like this, there are some times where African bullfrogs that are dwarfs turn out to be giants from misidentification, pretty sure they're dwarves though.

Hi all. Are you IDing them solely based on the white in the tympanum? Every GABF youngster photo I've seen shows white in the tympanum (albeit a bit less than these photos show). So I'm wondering what other characteristics you're looking at. Just for my own curiosity. Thanks!

These photos are of my own frog, purchased a week and a half ago. I believe it's a giant and it was advertised as such. It does have white in the tympanum, but it seems to be fading with time. The little guy/gal has nearly tripled in size within a week! Insane! Can't wait until it's large enough for sexing.

If you look at them you can almost directly see that they're dwarfes because of the colors GABF babies has three bright green stripes just like yours swimminsteve. These ones only has one stripe and they are very brownish compared to the very green giant. Their snouts are a bit rounded aswell while the giant has a pointed snout.
