    Default My toad Bertha

This is a few pics of my southern toad Bertha. She used to live on my front porch when she was younger under my tackle boxes until my dad stored some wood with a sticky substance on it when he was fixing his boat. She would leave sometimes, but would always come back. I think it was because that year was very wet and we had somewhat of a millipede infestation on my front porch. Ever since then she has lived inside in a 20 gallon aquarium, had her for about 2 or 3 years now and she is the size of my fist. The other picture is of some of my upcoming eastern spadefoot toads.

Yeah. Especially for a large toad, she is the largest southern toad I have found in a long time. I can't wait for my tadpoles to metamorph into spadefoots.

Oh my gosh...she is so pretty! And are you planning on keeping all the tadpoles when they become toadlets?
