Hey Everyone,
I'm hoping to start working on my first vivarium pretty soon. I plan to use a 10 or 20 gallon vertical tank. I am planning to focus on maintaining the plants before I add in the frogs but hope to put in some blue poison dart frogs (Dendrobates Tinctorius 'Azureus') at some point. I'm planning on using the Jungle Box 10 (or 20) Gallon Terrestrial Vivarium Starter Kit (it includes plants, substrate, and ect. I put a link to it below). I was wondering if anyone had any pointers on what I should do for lighting, heating, and airflow for the cage? Also, how many of those dart frogs can I house in a vivarium that size?

my apologies Chris, i am a bit behind on my forum stuff. if you do the 10g vert, then a pair of tincs is all you want to put in it. in fact, they should normally only be kept as pairs. that being said, as far as lighting, heating ect. a lot depends on your design. what look are you going for? there are a couple excellent stickies at the top of this forum about the vert conversion. give those a few reads and see if they help. if not, we can definitely delve further into building your tank
