Hey guys. I found some black tadpoles in a tiny bit of drying water. At first I thought they were bullfrog eggs but I think they might be some sort of toad species. I am located in California.
I have given them some boiled romaine lettuce and since then they have slowly consumed most of it. I also plan to separate some since they are too tightly packed. Any other suggestions for food or care? Thanks!
Change 25% of the water daily with dechlorinated tap unless a filter with established bacteria is present. Can also feed veggie type fish foods with Spirulina .
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !
