Default OK to not vary temperature for day and night?

Part of list of items I bought:
    Exo Terra terrarium small/low PT2603
    Exo Terra digital thermometer PT2472
    Exo Terra digital hygrometer PT2477
Exo Terra water dish XL PT2804
Exo Terra wire light small PT2060
Exo Terra ceramic heater 60W PT2045
Zoo Med reptile lamp stamp LF-20

I'll be hanging the ceramic heater a certain distance from the surface of the metal grid cover of my ET 18x18X12 terrarium....to achieve 26-27C reading at top of substrate.
How vital is it that the temperature drop a few celcius at night??? Would it be OK if the temp just stays at 26-27C?
The temperature in the house (not in the basement) hovers about 20-22C.
Facing the tank, I was thinking of placing a water dish on the left front corner, the ceramic heater on the right front corner (Away from the styrofoam background), and fake plants on the right rear corner.

In the wild; the frogs do experience a cooling off period at night. Your day tank temperature should be 28C (82F). If you trade the wire light for a Fluker's Small dome with built in dimmer or similar dome, it's easy to control the CHE without having to adjust it's height from enclosure .
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !
