Probably within the next year I plan on buying a pair or trio of these awesome little guys and was wondering if they can be fed baby dubia roaches? I am currently attempting to start my own colony of dubias so getting babies wont be an issue. Also do these frogs require UVA/UVB? I'm getting very conflicting results when I read about UV light with these guys. Last question (for now), Can these guys live happily and safely in pairs or trios, or are they like Pixie frogs in that living together can cause stress and possible lost limbs or death?
Firebellies are much happier living in groups. Just make sure that they are aprox the same size so no one gets picked on. They will eat just about anything that fits into their mouths, I don't see why Dubias would be a problem. I've never tried roaches with mine only because they are illegal where i live. They don't need a UV light as they are technically noctural.
