    Default All around newbie!

Hi, I am a fish hobbyist who's learning the ropes of keeping frogs. What better way than to jump into this community! I am learning all that I can about frogs, habitats, care, everything that I need to know. I appreciate the help in advance! Thanks a bunch.

Well you can start out with some aquatic frogs like African clawed frogs or african Dwarf frogs.
    I have 7 ADF's in a 46g Bowfront with 17 neon tetras , 3 cherry barbs , 3 emerald cory's , 4 Ottos

I have been leaning toward tree frogs to start out simple, but dart frogs have been catching my eye! It's so much to think about and consider. Knowledge is key though! I have fallen in love with frogs and I haven't even bought a single thing frog related! That is not a good sign for the addiction! Lol. I looooove fish, so paludariums are in the running too. So. Much. Stuff!!! Lol

Hi guys, FINALLY, I have decided to keep dart frogs. Anyhow, I am currently setting up a 18 x 18 x 24 Exo Terra terrarium, natural enclosure viv, and I will be culturing my own fruit flies as well. I am pretty used to having to cycle an aquarium, so I plan to have my set up for at least three or four weeks to get the humidity and temperature stable, and figure out how to deal with drops and dips should they arise. The time I take to plant will occur before that test or "cycle" period, that way I can factor in plants and how they will effect the habitat. As for my frogs, I am going to be getting Azureus, a good rookie dart. I look forward to posting my pics! Take care!
