What's the best water to put in a water dish? I keep seeing distilled is bad and that's what I use. People keep saying treat it but I have no clue what to treat the water with

Distilled water has nothing in it (mineral ions etc.) and it will actually draw out your frogs minerals, etc. from it's body . You can use tap water treated with Seachem Prime in the frogs bath.
The distilled water is good to mist with, since it does not leave watermarks; but do avoid spraying frog with it. More about water in here: http://www.frogforum.net/vivarium-te...hing-else.html .
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !
What is seachem prime? And where can i get it?

You can also use Repti-Safe to treat the water. Available at any pet store. Otherwise ask for water treatments.
Prime breaks down chlorine in to it's base molecules then binds those molecules in to a non toxic form. Seachem® Prime - Freshwater - Water Care - PetSmart
A very small amount of prime goes a long way.
Chain pet stores should have all sorts of water treatments like ZooMed Reptisafe - Reptile - PetSmart
It's the best (because of action and economical) water conditioner out there: Seachem. Prime. You can find it in most pet shop's aquarium section .
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !
If you are really lucky, you can find Safe, it's the concentrated, powdered version of Prime.

So I got the seachem prime and y'all aren't kidding about it going a long way. I'm curious as to how y'all measure it out. It says a cap full for 50 gallons. I just want to treat one gallon at a time so I have it for a while. But how much should I use? And is too much harmful for the little guys?

I use an eye dropper. I get them at the dollar store.
