    Default R amazonica French Guyana

I have three R amazonica French Guyana, and I was wondering whether it would be wise to add different species to these three or get more of the same. They are so tiny so I'm also wondering what size terrarium they should go into. I got them in November and at the moment I am keeping them in very basic conditions to make sure that they are feeding etc.

    Thanks in advance,
    Pavlor

Congrats on your Ranitomeya amazonica! It's my recommendation to always keep a frog species by themselves.

Although not big frogs (yours should reach close to 2 cm.); understand Ranitomeya climbs and will use a typical 46x46x60 cm. tall enclosure thoroughly. I'm preparing same size ExoTerra enclosure for a trio of R. imitators at the moment and think it's about the right size for them. If you get more frogs; make sure to quarantine them before mixing with your present ones and good luck .
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !

I agree with Carlos. Single species tanks are the way to go. The frogs display so much of their natural behaviors when kept alone without any undue stress from other inhabitants. A good species to add to their tank would be melanogaster fruit flies ;-)

It would be best to give them a 24 inch tall enclosure if possible.
    They'll use all the space
