Default Correct Temperature Day & Night.

I again should have asked this before now. I "checked out" 10 sources on the keeping of Horned Frogs on correct temperatures. The day temps were 74 to 85F and the night temps were 70-80F. So what is the best temperature for both the day and night. Thanks everyone again.

Day temp should be around 78° to 82°. Occational spikes to 85° should be maximum. Night temp should be 75° to 78° no lower than 74° though and no higher than 79° keep within that range and all should be fine.

Edit; if one day it drops to 70° don't panic just don't let it happen often.

For babies your day target number is 82F with a few degrees drop at night. Adults are sturdier and can handle bigger swings. Still; target 82-84F day temps and will be OK .

Keeping Pacmans at lower temperatures for extended periods of time can cause permanent damage to it's kidneys and lymph hearts .
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !
