Hi everyone
On the 20th December, my family and I will be going on vacation. Our destination is a three hour drive away, and we will be away for two weeks. Obviously, I'm going to have to take my frogs with me.
What is the best way to transport them safely? It's currently summer, and temperatures outside will be around 23-25C. I have six frogs (Litoria aurea), and they're all around 2-3 cm SVL.
If dragons were real I'd totally be in on that...

Your temps should be perfect so you don't have to worry about heating so I would use a plastic tub w/tight lid. Not quite sure what other input you're looking for.

Hi Gabby! If you search forum will find couple threads discussing this issue: http://www.frogforum.net/african-bul...nsporting.html. Have not transported frogs but from your post, think a small critter keeper with damp unprinted paper towels should work. Do keep keeper away from drafts that could cause quick temp changes or drying up the paper towels. For more extreme weather or long trips a styrofoam box can be used to put frog keeper inside with either cold or hot packs as required. Good luck !
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !
