Red face ACF novice question? (may have been asked before)

hey guys! unfortunately due to legality i cant buy African dwarf frogs because of living Northern VA. i was wondering if any of the PetCo's(or any other pet stores) in Maryland or DC that carry them. i used to have some back when they were legal in my state, but my mom gave them away when moving, i kind of wanted to get back to it. do they carry only ADF's or do they carry both dwarf and regular sized clawed frogs?

ACFs are currently illegal to own, sell, or transport without a permit in 11 US states, including Arizona, California, Kentucky, Louisiana, North Carolina, Oregon, Virginia, Hawaii, Nevada, Washington state, and New Jersey. I also understand, but cannot verify, that they are also illegal in DC. Maryland maybe your best bet in finding them. Over the years, I have noticed the numbers of ACFs for sale has dwindled. They are an invasive species and known to carry the deadly chrytrid fungus. Good luck!

These frogs are an invasive species. They are also carriers of a deadly fungus called chytrid. Chrytrid is known to wipe out entire frog populations.
