Hi, just a heads up these are not phyllomedusa bicolors (giant waxy monkey tree frogs) these are phyllobates bicolor (dart frogs). You may already be aware but I saw that you were asking about giant waxy's in the other thread and not sure if you got these confused

    hahaha.

I recently saw a picture of a lizard that looks absolutely awesome, the Armadillo Girdled Lizard (Cordylus cataphractus). Stunning reptile but it's rare to find them for sale and when you do they are generally $3000+ USD, maybe one day I'll own one.

I checked that lizard out last night, wow that thing is sick! It actually bites its own tail in self defense, kinda looks like Sonic the Hedgehog! lol

There are other species of Cordylus that are availible. I had a pair of C. tropidosternum though not true armadillo lizards they make a good replacement imo .

Indeed, I really enjoyed it elf defense mechanism too.

Yeah, when I researched it I saw a few other, while some come close to it, none have that wicked spiked head. Looks like a freaking dragon haha.
As for C. tropidosternum. Very interesting, relatively easy to care for, can be kept in groups and doesn't need a ton of room.
