I think my toads are mating and need help fast on what to do.
Well, this is a horned-frog forum so probably find one dedicated to toads... But don't do anything. Let them mate. If you don't want babies, get rid of the eggs. If you don't want them mating, house them separately.

Toads breed in early spring. If you have a female she most likely is not gravid. They need to be cooled during winter and warmed up in order for that process to happen.
So more likely than not, you will not have any eggs. I would separate the toads if the male continually harasses the female as it can be stressful for her. Also as long as the male is in amplexus he will not eat. They can remain in amplexus for days. So, gently tug one arm up until the firm grasp is broken. I try to wiggle my thumb underneath the hand. He should willingly let go after that. If not you'll have to do the same for the other arm. Do it gently as not to hurt him. They are strong little buggers!
I bred my toads earlier this past spring. However even now that it is time to brumate, my males occasionally grab onto my female. But it's not too often. So, I've left them together.
