I know that metal does not mix well with frogs, but what about just as the lid/screen?
Currently I have been buying and cutting netting.
Metal screen lids are available from many manufacturers as tops for standard sized aquariums. I have couple in use and they work fine . In a set-up requiring high humidity you can block off top partially with aluminum foil to help adjust it.
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !
Yeah, I knew I could find one, but wasn't sure if my little aquatic friends would like it very much. Ideally, I'd like to replace the screen with netting so they don't have any sort of metal contact. However, the one obsticle I have is currently my filter. I am using a Tetra Whisper 20ex, which clings on to the side.
Have you heard of anyone altering the frame to fit a filter or even my idea of replacing the wire mesh with a fabric/fishnet-like material?
