Oooh, very cute. Hey welcome to the forum Voliminal. I dont know anything about these frogs but your one looks very similar to Lauren's one that's been entered in the photo of the month. Im not sure if it's the same but the name is Ceratophrys cranwelli . Check it out.

    Yes they are very similar!

I've been told that all albinos are cranwellis!

    I have some questions!

Can you tell me how u tell the difference between the species?

And another thing, I bought the powder that I need to dust it's food every second time I feed him, but I think I read that there is also another thing that I need to use as calcium :S

    What is it?

And generaly apart from normal food (I use crickets now) what should I use combined with it?

And another question, I feed him 1 big cricket each day.

Is that right? Or he needs to eat more? I think its pretty Ok for this size.

You will have to go through the member's list to find him or her. Once you find this person, you can send him/her a private message.

One of the supplements that you want to have is a calcium supplement that contains Vitamin D3. Calcium is needed for the frog's bones and it cannot be absorbed without D3.

    Welcome to the forums.

That's a good looking pacman you have there. I was debating whether to buy the one at my local petstore a couple months ago. It looks EXACTLY the same as the one in your photos.

Those albinos look great! You should defenatily buy one!

I've benn told that 1 cricket a day is not enough food, and they told me I to feed as much he can eat in 30 mins! :O Wouldn't be that a lot?

So I have to give him D3 and Calcium?

I have bought this one here:

Repton 100g Reptile Mineral Insect Dusting Powder

    Is it suitable??

I have no idea, as I am not familiar with this product. I did a quick search for it, but was unable to find any real information. Does it contain calcium, vitamin D3, or vitamin A? What vitamins and minerals does it contain?
