Default Can i put wood from trees found outside in my frog's tank?

while stacking wood for the wood stove I found some pieces that looked good for my frog's tank. my frog is a white's tree frog so I as thinking it's fine to put the pieces in. just want to make sure. the pieces were in a pike o wood..just about the bottom. I will sand them (think that will get rid of the sharp edges) and wet them so hopefully get rid of any ****. here is a pic of my finds. can I put them in my froggie's tank? Name: SAM_3341.jpg

After sanding to your satisfaction, rinse pieces and bake in oven at 250F for one hour. Leave pieces in hot oven overnight and can use next day when cool, good luck !
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !
