Default would a night red heat bulb confuse my frog and make him sleep all night too

wasn't sure how to word the question. sorry. my wtf is in my room in the basemant so a challenge to keep him healthy and happy during the winter espcailly in maine and now that he moved to a 25 gallon tank so now i will have 2 small heating pads on each side of the tank (correct me if i shall not do that. i don't have the money to get a bigger pad for at least a month if not more) found out a stonger wattege is good so i will get the max my lamp can take and thinking of getting a night red heat bulb since it's colder at night here (though a heater would be warming my room for a few hours but not all ngiht) so i'm wondering if that would make my frog think it still day time (their ngiht time) ands till sleep or will he still be active like he should be?

Frogs don't see red light, so can run 24 hours. Another option is to use a ceramic heat emitter (no light) on a Fluker's Dome with built in dimmer. Good luck !
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !
