    Default Temporary Bin?

I have 1-2 frogs coming in the next few weeks and my dog had a surprise vet visit so I am a little short on cash. Is there any way I can set up a temporary Bin for the frogs while I save for their terrarium? They will only be in it about a week. I have never seen this done with frogs so i am curious if it would be ok.

I would not go ahead and get them but they are currently being kept in a " salad container"

yes as long as you maintain temps/humidity you can keep in plastic bin. you don't need anything fancy in order to keep frogs properly. Assuming you're getting tree frogs, get some kind of tall plastic bin, size depending on a size of frogs, papertowels on a bottom, then plants, etc, like you would for a permanent home. actually that is how you need to keep all newly acquired frogs in a quarantine.

Ok Good I just wanted to be sure. I eventually want a glass terrarium so I can watch them but getting them settled into a suitable house is most important.

I have made lots of hamster bin cages. For this frog I will just be drilling holes in the top with a bit that won't create holes big enough for them to escape. I plan on ordering the rest of the things I would for the terrarium ... Just can't afford the terrarium right now.
