    Default Update.

Here is a recent picture of my bullfrog, I will post more tomorrow when it's light because I can't see him now. He is almost 4 months old and I have had him for just over three and a half months now. He is
over 6 inches and doesnt seem to be growing fast anymore but still has some baby colours. Last night he ate lots of locusts, crickets and pachnoda. Is he fully grown now or old he still keep growing?

Great looking frog! Growth slows down dramatically after 6" so it's normal. Depends on his genetics, some frogs will get to alittle over 7" only and others can reach almost 9".

Mine is older than yours and he is literally half that size! Be happy you've got those gains, haha.

Haha, thank you. I hope he grows more. Like one of the 9 inch giants Eel Noob mentioned.

Here are some more pics. What age will a frog stop growing? Like the maximum age for a pixie to stop growing.

Don't think the last question has a straight answer due to differences in housing and care. Still, don't think a GABF is done growing at 6 months or even in the first year. Your frog looks fat and healthy so... don't worry, be happy !
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !

He just ate some locusts, pachnoda grubs and nightcrawlers a sec ago because it's feeding time.

He looks great Jack. They aren't fully mature until around 1.5 years, but I believe some mature faster than others just like most other animals. Genes play a major role.

WOW! VERY nice male Jack! It's amazing how it's 4 months old and yet so big. I agree with the rest, from what I've read these frogs have the potential to reach maximum size around the 1.5 yr benchmark with husbandry playing a major role. With that said, you are doing a great job.

    Thanks guys.

Carlos do you remember when I was having trouble feeding him worms because they are so slimy? We'll he has no trouble catching them if they're in tiny pieces. Can't believe I hadn't thought of something so simple earlier.

Imagine if one of ours turned out like this.

Save one animal and it doesn't change the world, but it surely changes the world for that one animal!
