I've recently been bitten by the frog bug, and am looking for a frog that would be appropriate to my current setup. My fiance recently found a green tree frog, and I've been keeping him in my 20 H, but will be releasing him because I am worried the current setup is not suited to an AGTF.
Here's a picture of the current setup:
As you can see I'm looking for a tree frog that would be fine in a half aquatic half arboreal setup. I'm currently considering Reed frogs as the potential best fit for this tank due to their size and natural habitat(living above water). I would prefer something semi-arboreal that would use the height of the 20H. I would also like something small because I hate cramping anything I keep(another reason I'm thinking this setup is not suited to the AGTF).
The starry night reed frogs looks very interesting and I am considering purchasing some of those. I'm fine with changing the tank setup to accommodate the frog, but would really like to stick with something that would be fine with a good 6" of water beneath it. I currently have pygmy cories in the tank, and am really loving the combo of both fish/frog. Without misting the tank stays at least 60% humidity and one misting usually bumps it up to 90%.
Anyone have any good suggestions?
Im not too sure how a green tree frog would be suited in that
tank, i know golden bell frogs are an arboreal/semiaquatic frog
if you were adding a AGTF, I would lowe the water level by a
couple inches and more vines. I wouldnt worry about humidity
if the tank is half water like this.

1.0.0 Correlophus cilliatus
2.1.0 Bombina orientalis
0.1.0 Ambystoma mexicanum
0.0.1 Ceratophrys cranwelli
1.0.0 Litoria caerulea
1.1.0 Dendrobates auratus "Nicaraguan"
0.0.2 Dendrobates tinctorius "Azureus"
well I'm planning on releasing the AGTF because I'm concerned about the tank setup not suiting him properly. I'll have to check out golden bell frogs, I haven't heard of them before.
