So yeah.
I was feeding Parker some worms and during his feeding he looks down and licks up a pea-sized stone in his tank. Now, I'm hoping...just hoping it was a dried piece of the white portion of his waste. It looked like it and didn't have the sparkly quartz look of any of the other stones in his tank.
But, as a precaution what should I do?
Now, my lizard is well over 24 inches long. Do you think he'll pass it easily?
Hi, If your guy is nice and healthy he should pass it with no problems
Quite healthy...maybe bored at times. I haven't let him explore much since I got kittens.
You should have no problems, with him passing it and if it is his waste it will just digest and come back out again, let us know how it all goes! Beautiful bluey too
~ Australian frogs Gotta love them
Thanks every one. I really hope your right. I'm feeding my boy a little more fiber in his diet today (oatmeal, squash, and more broccoli). So the ration of protein to vegetable matter will be more 40/60 then the other way.
Awesome looking pet and good luck passing pebble!
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !
So my Boy is in the clear and he did in fact eat a stone.
