    Question Anyone know some good inverts

    Just looking for something like a beetle something other than a tarantula or scorpion like a mantid or domino beetle with relatively good lifespan

    Roaches are awesome. Giant burrowers or hissers are probably the best for pets. Mantids, stick insects, leaf insects, centipedes, millipedes, rhino beetles or stag beetles are pretty cool and readily available in the UK.

    How about hermit crabs. Some can live on land in moist burrows and they're pretty cool. You said no tarantulas and no scorpions but this isn't either... a camel spider dun dun dun. I was going to get one. I got its setup and everything but decided to get a Tarantula. I warn you though they arnt easy to care for.

    Just realized you guys were in the UK.

    Though you cant order anything from those sites I posted, they still have a nice list to o through.

    Theres tonnes over here so they're pretty cheap. Ben at Dragons Den they sell adults for £2.50.
