I'm new to this too. Right now I'm feeding my little baby pacman frog 5 days a week and about 4 medium crickets each feeding. I dusting with calcium twice a week and vitamins once a week. I've had him for 3 week and he has more than doubled in size (not just fat but growing too). I hope this helps. If others on FF have better feeding ideas I would love to hear them too.

Offer food daily. Dust with calcium+D3 every other day and once per week with a multivitamin.

The first one is when I first got him about 3 weeks ago. The last two were taken about 1 week ago. His name is Camo Frog and he has been growing like a weed.

I recently got a baby pacman too and have been feeding about 5 days a week, with calcium dusting 2-3 times and vitamins once. He's eating 3-4 crickets now, depending on the size (only 3 if larger). I'm also feeding the crickets calcium fortified food to gut load.

Don't forget to gutload cricket. Crickets are not very nutritious by them selves.

hm... i missed the part where 2 of you were saying that you feed 5 days/week, you should go everyday, otherwise it is all good

How long is your frog snout to vent (SVL)? Babies should be fed daily (all they will eat in one feeding); but that can be reduced as they grow. Recommend add chemical free night crawlers (Walmart's sports section) as part of it's main diet .
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !

I will feed my little guy a few more days a week then. At what size do you cut back on feeding?

Thanks, I wasn't sure about feeding requency as other amphibians I have typically don't eat daily...it's been a long time since I had a baby

I've tried my guy with nightcrawlers and really have not had success! He seems annoyed by them, brushing them away. One even crawled over his head and he showed no interest. I would love for him to eat them, it would make life a little easier and I would like to vary his diet.

they're good at regulating their food intake, at some point you'll see that your frog just doesn't want to eat every day, so go with that. they won't get overweight as long as you feed them healthy.

nightcrawlers are one of the best staples, easily digested good food, continue trying, usually they need to be tong trained to eat like that.
