Hey guys, well the title pretty much tells the story. I'd like to learn a little bit on how to prepare waxworms, phoenix worms, and mealworms for a mint terribilis.
Thanks,
Will
If they are shy eaters you can always put them in a dish.
For mealworms though, I read somewhere a long time ago it was important to cut thead/ tail off because it was dangerous to the frog. Is this true?
I think that is a myth.
Terribilis are voracious feeders. If you want to stop those food items escaping, I suggest you get a shallow bowl or the cap from a jam jar, or a petri dish, etc, and put that in the terrarium (leave it in there). When you want to feed with waxworms or mealworms, just place them straight into that container in the terrarium and the terribilis will pick them off.
