Is 60% a good humidity for FBTs?
What kind of habitat do you have set up? If its semi or mostly aquatic you I don't think actual humidity levels matter so much, as long the substrate remains moist (if you have any).
But then I've never had FBTs before. . .
It's a 60% water 40% land setup.
That's a good sized water area. How big of enclosure do they have? Upon doing some outside research on fire-bellies, most care articles don't mention exact humidity levels. I don't think either of the care sheets here even say anything on the subject. One source I found, however, mentions 60 to 80% as a good range.
All I know.
It's a 10 gallon. For some reason, it can only maintain 60% humidity.
that is a fine humidity level. these frogs don't seem to get moisture from the air as much as they do from a moist object. as long as they have water to swim in or a moist substrate, they are fine
