Today when I was about to change his plantation soil I moved him in a smaller box. While I was moving him he peed on a scratch I had from yesterday.
Then I putted on the scratch some pure alcohol then some betadine and again some pure alcohol .Am I in danger of infection?
Thank you.
Wear gloves next time you change the substrate, if you have a cut or scratch
I think if you've disinfected it well, you should be fine. Just keep an eye on it! If it is really worrying you, you could apply an antibacterial cream, then cover with a Band-Aid.
If dragons were real I'd totally be in on that...

lol If getting peed/pooped on was that infectious I would be dead by now.
Unless an animal (or person for that matter) has a urinary tract infection, urine is actually sterile. That's why you can actually drink urine in a survival situation. Think about it; if there were horrible bacteria in it while it was in the body, the animal would get sick. It's got lots of unused nutrients and things bacteria can grow in though, so it can become a breeding ground for bacteria very quickly once it's outside the body. As long as you wash it off well and maybe put a little rubbing alcohol on it you'll be fine.
I know there's a lot of hype about reptiles/amphibians carrying salmonella, but that's mostly due to people not using common sense. I mean, no one would think it was smart to go up and lick a reptile, but it seems pretty common for people to forget to wash their hands after handling one.
thank you for your feedback .My frog had peed on me many times in the past bot not at any scratches thats why I asked.
