1. Why will he only eat fully grown female Dubia roaches? I have to force feed him everything but them. Does anyone else's frogs act like this?
2. What is the minimum food he should have? He is a small pacman frog. Fully grown and only 2-3 inches.
3. The tank I have for him I more than he needs so I was going to section it off down the middle with glass or something and put another frog on the other side. Has anyone got an suggestions to a frog that requires the same conditions to Putin the other half or should I just stick with another pacman?
How old is the frog?
most packmans should reach at least 4 to 6inch diameter depending on sex and genus.
For feeding,
Mine is 4 months old now and weighs almost 80g and is almost 3 in dimeter and is a male.
He consumes crickets, hornworms, dubia nymphs ,Night crawlers and mouse pinkies (live once a month as a treat)
I rotate the crickets, hornworms and dubia nymphs. and dust every third feeding with calcium+D3
and dust weekly with multivitamin only. I also gutload my crickets and dubia,
As for portioning and putting in another frog in I would only put in another packman
Since they have the same environmental needs.
You have to make sure they can't see each other.
or there will be trouble.
Ok thanks.
