I am going to post this and then post the picture from my phone. I got some new plants today in hopes to help humidity levels in my tank. Im going to wait a while until my frog settles in and is feeling better but I just felt like plant shopping today. Can someone please tell me if these guys are safe. I tried picking big leafed tropical plants out and my plant educated friend who was with me thought these would be safe. Also are begonias safe or are they too prickly?
The purple ivy is Pink frost sweet potatoe vine.
big red one is this...
The tall green one is...
And I forgot the name of the little green one.
I am positive that begonias are safe. They are high in humidity! Not sure about the rest...
Any "New" plant is not safe until it is prepared properly for the enclosure.
They must be cleaned ( roots and all ! ), rinse and re-potted in ABG or tropical soil as they are full of bugs, pesticides, and fertilizer.
A FF search will find you lots of instruction as to how to do this.

The coleus and potato vine - really should not be used they are garden annuals... and will die eventually die. You could plant them in your garden.
The begonia may do ok in a drier area of the tank -- if it has good drainage. They don't mind the humidity....but the roots can't stay soggy.
I would have to look up the cordyline. I think its a large tropical.
Here are some retail plant links. Some on these plants can be purchased in the 'indoor plant' section at home depot, Lowes, or a retail greenhouse:

Can I get tropical plant soil at Home Depot or Lowes I'm on my way there now?
all of the plants you chose will be fine. they are all tropicals. i hope you have a large tank, because the cordyline and the coleus will grow huge. all need to be in well drained soil, and moderate humidity. if it is a dart tank, none of these would be suitable.
as Lynn said, begonias love humidty, but also need good drainage.

Don't forget to rinse the leaves: to rinse off.... commercial leaf shine, fertilizer, and pesticides
Then wait a week or so before the plant is put with the frog.
Or set up the tank and wait to put the frog in.
I do a dip ( on every plant I purchase -- even from places that state it is not necessary )
If the plant dies..............well then it dies.
- 2 big buckets
1- with tap water and a cupful of bleach
( dip the entire plant - including the roots with the soil removed)
2- rinse bucket - tap water and lots of de-chlorinator to get rid of the bleach
I would rather loose an $10.00 plant than my frog
I have learned my lessons the hare way.
In my very first tank, I missed a spider's egg sack and had a tank full of baby spiders.
Not good. I had to yank everything !
