Default My Albino Claw Frogs Friendliness and Appitite

This is my first expieriance owning Albino Claw Frogs. I am amazed at thier friendliness compared to all my other Frogs and Toads. They come to the front glass when I walk by, and if I stick my hand in the water they literally swim into my hand and dont want to leave, Im sure they associate my hand with food, are they normally this friendly?

I love this about them, makes me want to get more.

Also they have a wonderful and very easy appitite, they eat anything right from my fingers along with live fish. I tried TUBIFEX Worms with Bio-Encapsulated Multi-Vitamins and they LOVE THEM !!!

Are TUBIFEX Worms ok to feed them?

Gary, Yes this is normal for these guys, and the tubiflex worms are ok.
I miss the ones I had years ago for that very reason.
I fed mine frozen brine shrimp and aquatic frog and tadpole pellets wen they were young.
and when they got larger I would feed an occasional guppy that was suppled by my coworker
    in the Science education bldg.
with a staple of frozen krill and shrimp pellets , blood worms.
I had a piar of them started out in a 5 gallon hex as a normal fish setup with power-filter and a airstone
then moved up to a 20 gallon long for the last 4 years I had them.

When I left I gave them to the school and they were well looked after and lived another 4 years.

They will associate you with food and are rather friendly animals. I try to not stick my hands in my tank too much but they will rest in your hand if you put it in there, they become quite tame.

When I wake up in the morning I open the glass lid on my tank to allow the tank to breathe a bit and they usually go crazy, I usually do the same in the evening. When the lid is open they get a lot more active and expect food. I only feed my frogs every other day or every third day but the behavior is still the same whether I feed that day or not.
