Right now I am using a 2.0 UVB bulb for my two whites tree frogs in a nono exo terra tank, Is 5.0 too much for them I just moved them into a 12x12x18 tank?? Please input I am not posting trouble in the inclosure so dont ask. My set up is good and I have had them for 6 months
They don't need any UVB at all if you supplement their diet with calcium+ d3. I would recommend just using a normal low wattage bulb that's not too bright. But if you really want a UVB bulb then use a 2.0 but still remember to supplement with calcium+d3. Also a UVB starts to emit less after about 6 months so its probably a good idea to change the bulb if you haven't already. Hope I helped.
Thanks that info helps, I am going to stick to the 2.0 uvb, I just changed their tank size and they are a little stressed out at the moment
