Can you tell what they are before they become toads? I think they are toads cause the rain barrel they are in is where I hear what I think is an american toad. So went and got five to bring in the house to watch grow. (maybe keep one or two?)
I have a five gallon I can move them too and a small filter if that would be better just no lid right now but could get one soon. I am feeding them fish flake food. I also have some blood worms if those would be ok too.
Thanks for any tips.
If they are black, then they are toads. Mississippi's list of native, pond-dwelling toads features Southern, Woodhouse's, Oak, Eastern Narrow-mouthed and Fowler's toads. If you plan on keeping any, PLEASE research now so you'll be prepared.
