Grey Tree Frog Eggs

I have a grey tree frog that just laid a bunch of eggs in my tank, I want to move them to a different tank to raise as tadpoles, how do I go about doing this without hurting the eggs?

I used a cleaned out 20 oz soda bottle to get them out of my pool. I just did it at an angle and the eggs were sucked right in. All the eggs hatched and none where hurt. I am sure someone else will have a better way but it worked for me

How did you make out moving the spawn?
Were the eggs deposited in this tank in captivity?
If so, how long have you owned the breeding pair?

I do this for newly hatched crickets ---it works really well !

I had actually caught about 10 of these frogs in my pool strangely enough. They had mated with each other for a while, and then I had the eggs in my tank. I have a 10-gallon fish aquarium with a screen top, and one half is rock and dirt, the other is water. They usually cling to the glass. Anyway, the eggs were in the water side so I just used a goldfish net and scooped them out. I then went to my local park that has a pond, and got some pond water (I read that tap water can kill them.) Now, many have hatched and I have soon-to-be tadpoles! Some eggs are still at the bottom. I hope that they are just late to hatch and are not dead. All together, I had the frogs in captivity for a total of 2 weeks. Thanks for the article, I will definitely give it a read
