I had been wanting a frog for about a year, I looked into it alot but I never knew how to go about getting one. I had never seen one in a petstore until the day I got him. For the time I wasted reading about them was not worth it. I'm learning more about them now than before!
Thank you! You've all helped me so muchh!
Look on amazon for the zoomed hygrotherm HT-10 controller and the zoomed reptifogger.
you will find them there much cheaper than at a pet store.
If you do get the fogger just make sure to set it up like the pictures on the box it comes in.
as far as how to run the put put hose. also make sure you have it on a level surface.
For my setup my fogger hardly ever comes on and my humidity's stay almost 80-75%
it only comes on if I have the enclosure door open too long.
I also use 3 sources of heat and the hygrotherm works great keeping the day time temps 80-83F
and nighttime temps 75-78F
The best money I have spent.
just make sure to use nothing but distilled water in the fogger or the mineral build up will damage it.
I will look more into that when I have more money, I'm going to just keep doing what i'm doing for now and see if that will work. But thank you anyway!
I found both for around $40.00 each
I now have 3 hygrotherms and 2 reptifoggers
I saw that but I am only in high school, so the money I do get I would have to save up.
It looks as if our friends here have given you great advice. I'll just follow along .
If you cannot afford a fogger at this time, a good misting twice a day with the top covered a good bit will help. I use a roundup weed sprayer container. You can adjust the nozzle to a fine mist and spray away. Quick and easy. I rinse it out and change the water in it ever 2 days to avoid algae growth in the sprayer. I rinse it and spray through it as hot as water as I can handle. Of course I let it cool or add cooler water than that for misting. For a gallon size sprayer at Walmart it cost me $15.
Adding a fake plant with lots of leaves as a hide will help keep moisture in also.

thanks! that's what I have been doing but with a smaller spray bottle, the size of the bottle holds the amount of water I will use in one day so I always clean it and refill it.
*to anyone I was talking to about the temp/humidity gauge, it is broken. took it apart to check the spring looking things and whenever I would move the humidity gauge arrow it would just bounce back to ten. (I found out it should bounce back to fifty)
