Soak the frog in a luke warm honey bath with 5 drops dissolved in the water. Use dechlorinated water and make it only chin deep. Soak until. Swelling decreases and the prolapse returns inside the frog.

If the prolapse doesn't go in then you may have to place it back yourself by using a cotton swab dipped in plain KY jelly.

If the prolapse does not go back in and you cannot place it in yourself you must take the frog to a Vet.

Don't like the dark color on this prolapse left side . How long have frog been like this? If unsure, when was the last time you saw frog rear without prolapse? Beside soak, would also move frog to hospital set-up now and take to veterinary. Good luck !
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !

In most cases it is caused by internal parasites irritating the bowels. They will swell from the irritation and as the frog strains to poop it will push the intestine out of the vent inside out. In minor cases they prolapse will go back in on its own and as long as nothing is torn the frog will be fine. Worst case the intestine is out too far to go back in on its own and your assistence is needed to do so but the majority of the time with a bad prolapse you will have to take the frog to a Vet to have the prolapse returned inside the frog and they will place a stitch in the wall of the vent so that the prolapse does not reoccur..

    I'm sorry for your loss.

That means that he has had this for a time and it went unnoticed. They don't normaly die from a prolapse if it is caught immediately, but if he tore it open then he bled out.

Sorry for your Pacman death Jordan ! I feared that when saw the dark color on prolapse. If you have more frogs and share cleaning/feeding items, etc. recommend run fecals in all of them.

Save one animal and it doesn't change the world, but it surely changes the world for that one animal!
