I'm starting to have an infestation of mold in my Pyxie's cage. Substrate is plain coco fiber, though there is a pothos vine in there as well. I know mold is inevitable in such a warm and humid environment but besides turning to springtails is there anything I can do about this? I spot remove the mold I see but I've heard it comes and goes and isn't harmful to Frog. Is this true?
Cage is a 24L 18W 12H exo terra. Ventilation is restricted not in any way.
i need answer also! i just water mine down and it's fine.
if it is white mold, which i am guessing it is, it will not harm your frog. it is natural for it to come and go. isopods (pillbugs) will make short work of it.
