Aquatic Frogs

Hi Everyone,

I'm looking to create a "Kitty TV" for my cat Bali. I have an older cat Blackie who is my Miracle Kitty. He's blind and survived three heart attacks due to a rare reaction to anesthesia and pain meds. I took in a colony of cats last year and was able to place every cat except for Bali. Blackie is 11 years old with his fair share of medical issues and Bali is 2, healthy, and high energy. Bali basically wants to play with Blackie, and Blackie has made it abundantly clear that he wants nothing to do with him, so I'm thinking about getting some frogs, as a type of "Kitty TV" to distract Bali.

My number one concern is safety for the frogs. I was thinking of an Aquatic Frog, as I don't feel comfortable feeding live insects. Does anyone have cats and frogs? Do you have any suggestions regarding a type of cover? I'm brand new to this, so I would like to start out with something relatively easy to care for. Any suggestions?

What about semi-aquatic frogs? Would they eat crickets, or could I feed them frog food from the Pet Store? How do you create an aquarium for a semi-aquatic frog?
