Water pumps

So iv just made a brand new vivarium for my wtf, its all looking awesome but the water pump i purchased to create a waterfall is making very suspicious noises, plus it came with an american plug?!! Anybody got any suggestions on a good make of pump has to be small due to the size of my tanks water section.
oh and current one is exo terra

Hello! No idea what pumps are available there; but maybe can help with current pump.

The smallest ExoTerra is the ReptiFlo 200. If you have that one, here is manual showing how to disassemble and clean impeller area: http://www.exo-terra.com/download/pr...ion_Manual.pdf . Maybe there is gravel or other obstruction causing noise. If other model, just visit ExoTerra's web page and look for the right model on the watering section: Exo Terra : Watering . Good luck !

Read the label on the motor and check its power requirements.
I will bet it is a 120Vac 60Hz and these type of motors depend on having the proper voltage and
frequency.

If I am not mistaken UK standard voltage is 240Vac 50Hz
