    Default Spring cleaning photos

Finally got around to doing a complete tear down/clean and rearrange. I was afraid of what I was going to find but the tank was pretty clean. From the photos you won't be able to tell but the frogs were VERY upset to be put in the smaller tank LOL!

Cute frogs. When I clean my frog tank, I usually stick my frog in a jar. He fits but he doesn't like it. He waits near the top of the jar so when I open it he jumps right out.

I thought about putting them in a critter keeper but with 3 of them I wasn't sure how I would get them all in, LOL! Plus I didn't know how long this was going to take.

I saw that you had a fogger, Does yours make a whining noise when you turn it on? Mine makes this whining noise even after being off for 5 mins and hardly puts out any fog until I turn it off and on a couple times... I've only had it a week..

It's whirs along. It's not a loud or bad noise, just sounds like something is spinning real fast. I would see if you could return it and get a new one. I've never had any problems with mine and the way it functions. Sometimes it doesn't put out fog but it's because there is a curve in the pipe that collects water, once I lift it up and the water drains back down it works.

The problem I did have with it and didn't notice it until I cleaned the vivarium and took the top off, is obviously sitting water on metal is going to rust. I didn't even think of that! So when their daddy was watching them in their little condo, he was able to shove the hose down the slat at the back of the tank and it still worked beautifully! I don't know if you've looked at my photo albums but I used to have a tree bark background. I could have cut section out of the the background to be able to shove the hose in but I just removed it completely and stuck the hose in. No more worrying about how to balance it on top of the tank and now more room for mushroom ledges and hammocks!

It's gone through a little bit of change since those pictures. I added a couple of real plants to see if I could grow them. I also had to replace the driftwood because the fogger was hitting directly on the wood and it got moldy real fast. The frogs seem to like whatever I do

I think real plants more hard to keep, but it looks more awesome and it beneficial to terrarium. About mold I think it's not problem to worry about as frog keepers always see mold, because of high humidity and temperature, especially we talking about dart frog set up :-) . Waiting to see new photos ;-) .
