My whites tree frog is exactly 2in s-v. How old might it be? At what age will it croak if its a male? i played a croaking recording and its dewlap expanded a few times but then stopped abruptly and made no sound what so ever. could it be a male that just hasnt matured yet?
I have no idea how old it could be based on its size. There are too many factors (diet, enviromental conditions, and so on) involved to acuarately tell age. I would say it could start croaking at 2 inches SV.
By the way, lizards and some birds have dewlaps, frogs don't.
