Hi again, I got4 more tads from the canal that are 1 inch long...I need help identifying the species because I thought they were american toads but I'm in central arizona...they're black with gold speckles and I can't get a good pic yet but here is almost exactly what they look like:
I have tadpoles that look the same but are red legged frog tads, it looks like
it may be a spadefoot toad? check any Frogwatch or nature websites
