    Default Signs of bloat??

I read somewhere about frogs getting bloat, & I can't find it now.

Please could you tell me the signs & symptoms (obviously fat tummy)

Sorry I'm a newbie to frog keeping, so would like to know.

Also is the worming treatment from the vet very expensive?

    Thx.

Bloat - swelling of the body and limbs due to fluid build-up. It's usually a result of prolonged exposure to unsanitary conditions and may be related to septicaemic bacterial infection.

I can't tell you how much vets charge to worm frogs I'm afraid . Not that I condone letting frogs go untreated, but if you don't have any other amphibians and the toads are healthy, you more than likely shouldn't worry yourself too much about getting them treated, though obviously it is preferably to have them treated.
