Red bulb to heat viv

what wattage of bulb should i use? dont want to buy one to big or too small and waste money? its and exo terra 24inch tall and 18 x 18.. i also have a 18inch tall by 12 x12

Depends on how much you need to raise the temp in the viv. How low are your temps and what temp are you trying to achieve?

it depends on what kind of frogs do you have and what temps do you want to achieve. i prefer 75W for bigger enclosures and 50W for 12x12x18 and both plugged into a dimmer, hydrotherms in my case.

I have a 75 watt for my whites in an 18x18x24. Connected to a hygrotherm and sits over a spot of the tank where there are no vines or anything for the frogs to sit on so they have no chance of sitting right under it.

Thanks guys got a good idea what to get and yea I'll be using a dimming thermostat with it
