    Default Fierce

    Hi all

My Caatinga always (and I do mean always), huffs and puffs an screeches (hope this is correct English ) when I approach his enclosure. Every time I open the terra, he lunges forward to attack, the fierce little bugger. He eats everything I offer, poops frequently and grows like hell, but the aggressive behaviour, is that normal?

    cheers

    J.

This is very normal for this species. They are very vocal and inclined to threaten you. The only species worse than C. joazeirensis is the C. aurita.
