    Default Creeping ficus

I picked up some variegated creeping ficus at the philadelphia flower show while Im peice mealing a terrarium to build this spring. How do you like to use creeping ficus? just along the bottom or so it climbs the background from bottom up or top down?

Both. What did you think of the flower show? I was less than impressed.

Well since last years was hawaii, and Im an orchid person, that was going to be a hard venue to follow, like a good song on the radio, they always play a bad song after it. That being said I was pleased to see more bromeliads & Tilandsia present. Being an orchid geek as far as I know they could have had them in previous years & I just didnt notice. They didnt have alot of bulbs for the yard this year either. Also disappointed the RHS wasnt represented in some way.

Atleast the reading market never disappoints! I try a different shop every year. Wish I lived closer. I love fresh seafood but take a tourbus to go to the show. Cant bring any of that fresh fish back.

I too was shocked that the RHS wasn't represented. I did like the rainforest exhibit, but otherwise, there just wasn't anything there that had serious "wow factor", like in past years.

You do know the orchid show will be here next month, right?

Waldor orchids never fails to do a great display. I did read the sepos is coming to town. I wanted to order from Ecuagenera again but cant make it to philly to pick them up while there here. Ive ordered from them before and must say, they are they way to go when you can. Good folks down there that will answer any question you may have. I had a question about 2 plants that had same name but #1 & 2. They took a pic of them together for me to see the difference. I got huge bare root orchids in good shape for less then I'd pay locally a few years ago when they were at the longwood gardens show.

I feel for you Karen. The shows seem to skip Co. as well. And when they don't skip they are less then impressive. The reptile shows are the same here as well, one or 2 frog vendors at each so the selections are very limited. So I guess you can have some company on the jealous bus!

Don't worry, you guys didn't miss anything at the flower show. I didn't even take one picture, that's how less than brilliant it was. (The theme was brilliant!. Based on england)
