    thanks Heather!

haha i perfer the set up that they are in now (mainly eco earth based), as opposed to the almost fully aquatic one... as spot has stopped trying to mate with dot...

    less noisy too!

hahah definitely not, not for a good while... (hopefully) whether or not it is physiclly possible. its my assumption they are around 8 months or so old....ide prefer they were twice that age, if we did end up with babies.. and with my luck, ide end up with about 60+ firebellies.... LOL

I had about 175 tadpoles, but only 8 made it to become froglets. I have rehomed them all. It is ALOT of work and money. They eat a lot! I have had fire bellies for about 15 years and last year was the first time they had ever spawned. (We had problems with our heating. I think the cold temps put them in the mood for love) Shortly after that 2 of my FBTs passed away. I think their age and spawning was too much for them. I then lost another one about 6 months after that.....I think he escaped.....never found any sign of him. I now have 2 of my orginal 5 left.
